The set from the maker Trumpeter is in 1:35 scale and offers rich work on the launcher block as well as the running gear. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The TOS-1 is a Soviet and subsequently Russian rocket launcher system with thermobaric ammunition, placed on the chassis of a heavy tank. It is intended to destroy manpower and lighter targets in fortifications as well as in open terrain. Its characteristic element is the rotating block of launch tubes carried on the hull of the tank.
Finish the running gear and the hull first, and only then fit the launcher block. The tracks and the road wheels call for careful fitting. For the patina, dark washes and dust and mud pigments are suitable. A primer and an airbrush are the way to go.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
