This is not an aircraft model but a set of replacement wheels with masks for painting them. Two details from the name are the key ones here: the early version and the Diamond tread pattern. The manufacturer runs several combinations of early and late versions as well as of different tread patterns, and that detail is exactly what decides whether the wheel will match your subject. There are more sets of similar scope and they are told apart by the exact set designation, so go by that when choosing.
Aircraft tires changed in service and individual batches had a different tread pattern. The diamond-shaped pattern, designated Diamond, is one of the easiest to recognize and it can be traced in photographs of a particular machine. On a model in 1:48 scale the wheel is large enough for the pattern to read clearly, so a badly chosen tread is among the mistakes an experienced viewer spots at first glance. Resin casting has the further advantage that the wheel has no parting seam across the tread, which would otherwise have to be sanded away at the cost of damaging the pattern.
Separate the wheel from the casting block with a fine-toothed saw and never by snapping, because resin cracks. Sand the rest of the block back and wash the parts in warm soapy water because of the mold release agent from the mold. When painting, even the surface out with a primer first, then spray the hub and separate the tire with the mask, or the other way round, in whichever order suits you better. Press the mask down all around, otherwise paint will creep under it and the edge will come out smeared. Keep the tire in a dark gray tone, because pure black does not work in scale. Glue the wheels to the landing gear with cyanoacrylate glue. Do not breathe in the dust from sanding resin; use a respirator and sand wet if you can.
The set is a resin accessory with masks, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
