Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed plastic kit of the Soviet heavy eight-wheeled cargo and carrier vehicle ZiL-135 in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The set is designed as an injection-molded plastic model with an elaborate drivetrain and is supplemented with small photo-etched parts. The vehicle is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The ZiL-135 was a Soviet eight-wheeled off-road special developed at the end of the 1950s. It served as a carrier for missile systems, among them the FROG tactical rockets, and as a heavy transporter. Characteristic is the layout with four steered wheels (the front and rear axles) and a massive chassis adapted for the toughest terrain.
On such a large chassis it pays to assemble and align the drivetrain and the wheel suspension before you close up the frame. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, spray the joints with a primer and apply the main shades with an airbrush. For a faithful look, washes and pigments for mud and dust effects on the wheels and the underside of the vehicle are suitable.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
