The item belongs to the Front46 series and to the fictional Schwabenland formation; both are designations of the world of the manufacturer, not an abbreviation of a scale and not truncated text. The brand also offers a version without a pilot and a version with a pilot in a different pose in the same scale, so you choose according to the scene you have in mind.
Scorpion is a fictional machine. The Front46 range works with a stylized alternative future of the middle of the 1940s and takes over the shapes of period military equipment, but no such asset ever came about or was committed; the designation in the name does not refer to a real service classification. The added pilot figure has a practical point: on large machines a viewer has nothing familiar to relate the size to without a human figure, and the figure also gives a scene action — climbing into the cab, an inspection or a rest beside the machine.
Choose the glue according to the material of the parts — a thin plastic cement on injection-molded plastic, super glue on resin parts. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, remove any casting residue and protect your airways when sanding. Paint the machine and the figure separately and join them only at the end, otherwise you will not reach into the folds with a brush. Dry fit the load-bearing gear before you close the hull up. After the filler primer and the covering shades, bring the intricate areas to life with a dark wash in the engraved lines and a dry brush on the edges; concentrate the dust pigments at the lower part. On the figure, choose gentler shading of the face and set it apart from the machine in shade, so that it is not lost in the composition.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
