A photo-etched set for the Soviet F-22 divisional gun in 1:35 scale from Aber: metal parts for detailing a model of the gun. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched metal set in 1:35 scale for a model of the Soviet divisional gun of 76.2 mm caliber, model 1936, known under the designation F-22. This is not a kit but a set of thin metal parts with which the plastic shield, the brackets, the clips and other small items are replaced on the model. On an artillery subject it shows particularly, because the shield is meant to be thin sheet metal and in plastic it always looks like a slab.
The F-22 was a universal divisional gun that was to handle fire against ground as well as air targets. The design proved complicated and the weapon was soon replaced by a simpler type; even so, a great many were made and a large part of them fell into German hands. The Germans converted them into anti-tank guns and fitted them, among other things, to tank destroyers on captured chassis, so the same weapon appears on both sides of the front.
Cut photo-etched sheet on a hard surface with sharp etch scissors or a scalpel, and never break a part out. Make the bends in a bending tool or at least between two blades, so that the edge is sharp and in the right place. Degrease the parts with alcohol, glue them with super glue, that is with cyanoacrylate, and apply primer to the metal, otherwise the paint will not hold. With an artillery shield, check after bending that the sheet has not waved.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
