A basic photo-etched detail set for the JSU-152 heavy self-propelled gun in 1:35 scale from the Polish manufacturer Aber. It is a set of photo-etched metal parts, not a vehicle model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This basic photo-etched set is intended to raise the detail of a plastic model of the Soviet JSU-152 heavy self-propelled gun in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle kit of its own but an accessory that replaces selected plastic parts with fine metal pieces. It is the basic part of the range, which further extension sets follow on from.
The JSU-152, also written ISU-152, was a Soviet heavy self-propelled gun of the Second World War, armed with a 152 mm gun-howitzer on the chassis of the IS series of heavy tanks. Its effectiveness against armor earned it the nickname Zveroboj, meaning beast slayer.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a glass surface and bend them on a bending tool or between two rulers. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or epoxy; degrease the metal before painting and apply a base coat for metals.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a complete model. The base plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
