This 1:35 scale kit from AFV Club represents the M1134 ATGM variant of the American eight-wheeled Stryker armored vehicle. It is an injection-molded plastic model intended to be assembled and painted. In the box you will find plastic parts, clear parts for the periscopes and lights, photo-etched elements and a decal sheet. The rubber tires have a faithful tread pattern and sidewall detail.
The Stryker is a family of General Dynamics wheeled armored vehicles derived from the Canadian LAV III. The M1134 version carries an elevating launcher for TOW anti-tank guided missiles and is used to destroy armored targets at long range. A 7.62 mm machine gun supports the crew. The US Army fielded these vehicles within the Stryker brigade combat teams.
Finish the chassis and drivetrain and the lower hull first, and close up the superstructure only afterwards. Use liquid cement for plastic and apply a primer before painting. We recommend spraying the shades with an airbrush; washes and pigments for dust and mud effects suit the weathering well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
