Replacement return rollers, that is the small wheels carrying the upper run of the track, for a model of the StuG III Ausf. G assault gun in 1:35 scale. The name defines the set for the late production standard, designated after the Alkett works, and states that the quantity of parts is enough for one vehicle.
A return roller is a small part, but there are several of them on a vehicle and all of them are clearly visible from the side, because they sit above the track and nothing covers them. In an injection-molded kit their outline tends to be softened and the fine details around the circumference merge together. Replacement parts therefore noticeably sharpen the side view of a finished model. The design of the rollers changed during production, so before you fit them, compare their shape with the documentation for the vehicle you are building and with the instructions for your kit.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest away carefully, so that you do not cut into the circumference of the roller. Check whether cement for plastic models acts on the material; if it does not, use cyanoacrylate glue. Glue the rollers only after dry-fitting the tracks, so that they sit at the right height. Before painting, wash them, degrease them and apply a thin coat of primer.
The kit, tracks, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
