A finely photo-etched metal sheet from the manufacturer Aber in 1:35 scale, from which you build flowering sunflowers. It is neither a vehicle kit nor a figure, but a scenic accessory that brings a diorama base, a field, a garden or the edge of a road to life. The flowers and the leaves are built up from several layers, so once assembled they look three-dimensional.
Sunflowers suit summer rural subjects, farm buildings and equipment parked by a field. They combine with a base, fences and other diorama features and give a scene color and a sense of scale.
Cut the parts off the fret, clean up the edges and shape the layers of the flower and the leaves before gluing them, so that they do not look flat. Degrease the metal, lay down a primer and paint with acrylics; the yellow petals and the dark center stand out with fine shading and a drybrush. Use cyanoacrylate glue to attach them.
The accessory is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted photo-etched sheet. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
