About product

T-34-76 model 1941, Part II - Battles in Ukraine (1:35, Colibri Decals)

This is a set of waterslide decals in 1:35 scale, not a model. The set is devoted to Soviet T-34-76 medium tanks of the model 1941 production version used in the fighting in Ukraine and, as the second part of the series, widens the choice of markings with further particular machines.

The real subject

The T-34-76 is among the most significant tanks of the Second World War; the model 1941 version was marked by a welded or cast turret with the 76 mm gun. In Ukraine these machines fought hard battles from 1941 onwards. The decals let you build a particular, historically documented vehicle with period tactical markings and slogans.

Usage tips

Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss coat, use decal softeners once dry so that they settle into the detail, and finally fix them with matte varnish. The relief and the edges can be brought out with washes and pigments for convincing front-line weathering.

Who the set is for

  • builders of T-34-76 model 1941 models in 1:35 scale
  • modelers interested in the fighting in Ukraine in 1941
  • anyone after alternative historical markings

This is a set of decals, not a model. The kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
