Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set from DEF Model in 1:35 scale holding the early variant of the turret of the Soviet T-34/85 tank built by Factory No. 112, fitted with the 85mm S-53 gun. The set replaces the turret of the base kit with a more faithful casting matching one particular production batch. It is not a model on its own but a detail accessory. The set is intended for the Academy kit.
Compared with the earlier T-34/76, the T-34/85 received a larger turret and a more powerful 85mm gun; the S-53 type was among the early versions of that armament. The individual Soviet factories and production batches differed in the execution of the cast turret, which is an important detail for a faithful build.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Before fitting it to the hull, check the fit of the turret ring and the diameter of the mounting; protect your airways while sanding.
The set does not hold the base kit, paints or glue. It is an accessory for a model you obtain separately.
