This resin detail set holds a faithfully rendered pilot's seat for the Polikarpov I-153 Chaika in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an accessory with which you replace the simplified seat from the plastic kit and lift the realism of the cockpit.
The Polikarpov I-153 Chaika is a Soviet single-seat fighter biplane from the end of the 1930s, characteristic for its cranked upper wing and retractable landing gear. The pilot's seat sat in an open, or rather partly covered, cockpit.
Wash the part free of mold release residue, cut the casting block off carefully and sand the surfaces down with respiratory protection. Use cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) for bonding. The seat comes into its own once it is painted and the detail and any harness are picked out lightly.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin accessory for the kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
