The T-34 Engine Deck Upgrade Set is a photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale for the rear engine deck of the Soviet T-34 tank.

This is a photo-etched detail and add-on set in 1:35 scale, not a standalone model. The set is meant for improving the rear engine deck of the Soviet T-34 medium tank. The fine photo-etched grilles of the cooling louvers and the extra parts replace the coarser plastic version from the base kit and markedly raise the realism of the rear of the hull.
The engine deck of the tank has louvered vents above the radiator, which come out thick and with nothing to see through in plastic. The photo-etched parts make it possible to create thin, see-through grilles with the faithful structure the real vehicle had.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a cutting mat, make the bends in a bender or along a ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer suitable for metal before painting; the fine grilles then stand out when painted with an airbrush and brought out with a wash.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
