A set of photo-etched grilles in 1:35 scale from Tetra Model Works, meant to replace the coarser plastic grilles of the engine and cooling deck on plastic kits of the Russian T-90, T-90A and T-72B tanks. It is not a model but a detail accessory that refines the upper hull. The set is meant for the Trumpeter kit.
The T-72B, the T-90 and the T-90A belong to a related design line of Russian main battle tanks. The T-72B is a later variant of the proven T-72 with improved armor, and the T-90 and T-90A are its modernized successors with a more advanced fire-control system.
Carefully cut out the original plastic grilles and clean up the openings. Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, make the bends with a bending tool and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The fine structure comes into its own once painted and weathered.
The set holds photo-etched accessory parts only. The base plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
