This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Takom contains two models in one box: the T3 light service carrier and the FUG 2.5t field handling forklift. The box is supplemented with clear parts and photo-etched items, and decals for several marking options are usually included. According to the instructions, the FUG can be built in more than one configuration.
The Feldumschlaggerät FUG 2.5t is a versatile handling machine with all-wheel drive that has served with the German federal army since the 1980s. The forks carry a load of up to 2.5 tons and can lift it to a height of about 3.7 meters; with a change of attachment the machine can perform other tasks as well. The T3 carrier is a commonly used utility vehicle of the same era.
Finish the interior and the running gear before you close the hull and the cab. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement and sand the joints once dry. A primer coat and an airbrush are recommended; washes and pigments for dust and mud give a realistic look. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
