Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish TKS tankette in the machine gun version. This detailed kit from the Polish manufacturer IBG contains photo-etched parts, decals, two crew figures and one-piece quick-build tracks. The engine and the interior of the fighting compartment are reproduced as well, so the hatches can be opened and the inside shown. The small vehicle is a rewarding subject for dioramas from the campaign of 1939.
The TKS was a Polish light reconnaissance tankette developed in the 1930s. Series production began in 1934 and around 280 machines were built in all. The basic version was armed with a machine gun and was used for reconnaissance and escort duties. TKS tankettes took a prominent part in the defensive fighting during the German invasion of Poland in September 1939.
First assemble and paint the engine and the interior you want to leave visible, and only then close the hull up. The one-piece quick-build tracks make the running gear easier to assemble. A multi-color camouflage scheme suits the Polish finish; washes and dry pigments on the running gear create a convincing patina and bring out the riveted detail of the small hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
