An accessory from the LooK line for a model of the Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress in 1:48 scale. It is an instrument panel.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress is an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War, used above all over Europe for daylight bombing. The F version can be told from later machines by, among other things, the one-piece nose glazing without dividing frames. The cockpit of this type is roomy and the instrument panel in it stays clearly visible once the model is finished.
The item is an instrument panel. The plastic part from the kit usually has the instruments only in shallow relief and the modeler has to paint them dial by dial, which calls for a steady hand and a lot of time. A ready-made panel from an add-on set shortens that work and the instruments on it stay legible. The make-up of the set and the way the panel is attached are given in the manufacturer's instructions; go through them before you start.
Fit the panel before you join the fuselage halves; you will not get into a finished cockpit with tweezers. Do not touch the printed surfaces with your fingers, grease on them stays visible. Do not soak the parts until you have checked in the instructions that they are meant for it: a part soaked wrongly cannot be saved. Dose cyanoacrylate to a minimum, its fumes fog clear parts.
The add-on set alone is supplied. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
