This is not a tank model but a photo-etched metal detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale. The set serves to build true turret side stowage bins for the Tiger I heavy tank in the Ausf. E version of the initial production. The photo-etched walls have the right thickness, hinges and catches, which a plastic molding does not imitate.
The Tiger I Ausf. E was a German heavy tank of the Second World War with thick frontal armor and an 88 mm gun. Vehicles from the initial production had a number of particular details, among them the side stowage bins on the turret.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and make the bends over a bending tool for clean edges on the bins. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue; the hinges can be left movable. Apply a metal primer before painting and add pigments.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
