Responsibility details are not available.
A printed sheet of posters in 1:35 scale with American period poster art from the Second World War. It is used as a scenic accessory for dioramas and display-case scenes — it is cut out and glued to a wall, a fence, a post or an interior wall. It is not a model, not a kit and not a waterslide decal.
A poster in a diorama is not just decoration but a tool of composition: it draws the viewer's eye and decides where they look first. Place it therefore where you want to lead the attention — beside an entrance, above a bench, on a post next to a figure. A good rule is that a poster should sit at the eye level of the figures or slightly above them; placed lower it looks unnatural. Several posters side by side at slightly different heights and partly overlapping look livelier than one carefully centered in the middle of a wall.
Glue with PVA or matte glue applied to the surface, not to the cut piece itself, and press it down with a soft brush from the center out. Once it is dry, bring the whole scene together with matte varnish and a light dust pigment — the poster and the figures have to share the same degree of sheen and the same amount of dust, or the paper will visually jump out of the setting. The colors of the print tend to be more saturated than the weathered surroundings, so it pays to pull them back with a very thin filter or wash.
The accessory is supplied as a printed sheet. Glue, paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
