A basic photo-etched set in 1:35 scale for the American M-10 tank destroyer. It is neither a vehicle model nor a complete kit, but a collection of fine photo-etched metal parts that replace and refine the details of the plastic base model. The basic set (vol. 1) brings above all the most visible external features: metal fittings on the hull and turret, brackets, meshes and small additions.
The M-10 was an American tank destroyer of the Second World War, built on the chassis of the Sherman medium tank and fitted with an open rotating turret carrying an anti-tank gun. It served with Allied units in Europe and on other battlefields and was marked by the characteristic shape of its open-topped turret.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife and bend them on a sheet bending tool. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The open turret of the M-10 shows fine photo-etched detail well, so careful painting pays off: primer, base shade and weathering with a wash and pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
