Bravo 6 1:35 Viva SEALs is a resin set of two unpainted figures of members of the American naval special forces in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds two unpainted figures in 1:35 scale cast in resin. The subject is a pair of members of the American naval special forces from the period of the war in Vietnam, captured in a relaxed composition away from combat action. The manufacturer is Bravo 6, a brand focused on figures with elaborate sculptural workmanship of the uniform and the kit. It is not a kit of equipment but an accessory for a diorama or the basis for a vignette on its own.
The figures have the typical light kit of patrol units: clothing without a heavy load-bearing system, magazine pouches, soft headgear and personal weapons. The relaxed poses make this set a rewarding accessory to a parked boat, to a camp scene or to a model of a vehicle, where combat action would look unnatural. The pair works as a composition, but the figures can also be split into two scenes of their own.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the paint holds on them. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw, sand the surfaces and protect your airways while sanding resin. It is glued with cyanoacrylate super glue; fill the seams with modeling putty. Apply a primer before painting. Build the clothing up from a base shade through the shadows into the lights, and with weathered cloth a light picking out of the areas and a dry brush on the edges prove themselves. Paint the skin in layers. Finally unify the surface with a matte varnish, leaving only the weapons and any glasses glossy.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
