Small urban scenes are among the most rewarding dioramas: they need neither a large base nor dozens of figures, and they stand or fall by their atmosphere. A corner naturally frames the composition, leads the eye of the viewer and offers a logical place for a figure or a vehicle in 1:35 scale. The set will serve as the basis of a stand-alone vignette as well as part of a more extensive urban scene, from a peaceful prewar street to a city marked by the front.
Wash the resin parts in warm soapy water, remove the casting blocks with a saw and glue everything with cyanoacrylate glue. A base of gray primer is brought to life by painting in light acrylic tones of plaster and stone, a wash brings the texture of the surface out and drybrushing picks the edges out. Patches of moss, dirt at ground level and a few small props give the corner a lived-in, lively look.
This is a diorama accessory, not a kit of a vehicle or an aircraft. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; figures and other equipment are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
