A universal photo-etched detail set from the Polish manufacturer Aber in 1:35 scale. It holds movable, workable hinges in photo-etched metal for realistically opening the doors of tool bins, engine hatches or side plates on models of military equipment. The second version denotes the second of the two forms. It is not a vehicle model but an add-on set of small parts.
The hatches and doors of real vehicles were hung on pivoting hinges, which in scale are usually only suggested. This set replaces them with genuinely workable metal hinges, so the parts can be shown open. Choose the version according to the type of hatch and its form.
The hinges are very small, so work with tweezers on a light surface. Separate the photo-etched parts with a knife, roll the pins gently and glue them spot by spot with cyanoacrylate glue so that they stay movable. Degrease before painting and apply a primer.
This is a universal photo-etched detail set, not a vehicle model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
