This extensive photo-etched set from the Korean maker DEF Model is intended for the late production version of the Panther Ausf. G tank in 1:35 scale. Unlike partial sets it is, according to the name, a complete treatment - the set covers the detailing of the model as a whole and replaces or adds to the plastic parts with metal ones at a scale-faithful thickness. It is designed for the Academy kit; check compatibility with your kit beforehand.
The Panther Ausf. G was the last large-scale production version of the German Panther tank. Compared with the earlier versions it was given a modified hull with altered sides and a range of production simplifications; its armament was a 75 mm gun with a long barrel, feared for its penetrating power. The machines of late production from 1944 and 1945 differed in a great many details - exactly those that fine metal etch can render faithfully.
With an extensive set it pays to work by sub-assembly and to keep comparing with the kit instructions, so that the modifications follow on from one another. Cut the parts out with a scalpel, bend them with a bender or tweezers and glue them with small amounts of super glue. Before painting, degrease everything and prime it.
The accessory is not a model kit; the basic kit is not included in the package.
