A multi-piece plastic set of miniature AH-1W SuperCobra attack helicopters in 1:350 scale from Trumpeter. This is not a stand-alone large model but an accessory set of small parts for populating the decks of amphibious and other ships in the same scale. The parts are injection-molded in clear plastic and decals tend to be included. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
The AH-1W SuperCobra is an American twin-engine attack helicopter from Bell, long in service with the United States Marine Corps. It served for close fire support and for destroying ground targets, often from the decks of amphibious ships. It is based on the proven Cobra line and was later replaced by the AH-1Z.
Given the small dimensions of the parts, work with tweezers, a sharp knife and liquid cement for plastic applied in drops. Glue the rotors and the pylons carefully. An airbrush and thin coats suit the painting; a fine brush will serve for the details and any accentuation.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
