A barrel set for German First World War battleships of the König class in 1:350 is a turned Aber detail set. It is not a ship kit but a metal accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A turned metal detail set in 1:350 scale from Aber. It holds faithful barrels for the German First World War battleships of the König class: König, Grosser Kurfürst, Markgraf and Kronprinz. The metal barrels replace the coarser plastic parts of the model. It is not a ship kit but a fine metal accessory for more experienced modelers.
The König class battleships were among the most powerful dreadnoughts of the Imperial German Navy (Kaiserliche Marine) in the First World War, and fought at Jutland among other actions. They carried their main gun armament in twin turrets, backed by a secondary casemate battery.
The turned metal barrels replace the kit's plastic parts and have a true profile and bore. Separate the parts carefully from the carrier fret, and bend any photo-etched extras on a metal surface. Degrease the metal and apply a metal primer before painting; glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
This is a metal accessory for a model, not a standalone ship kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
