A set of turned metal barrels for the Japanese naval gun of 15.5 cm caliber and 60 calibers length, the 3rd Year Type. This weapon made up the main armament of the Mogami class cruisers and later served as the secondary armament of the Yamato class battleships as well. The set contains 12 pieces.
The metal barrels are sharp, dimensionally accurate and do not distort. Fitting is simple: you cut off the original plastic barrel, drill a hole in what remains of the part and glue the metal barrel in.
The set is intended for more experienced modelers who want to raise the realism of the armament of a model.
