The Maru-Yu was an unusual transport submarine operated in the Second World War by the Imperial Japanese Army (not the navy) — this was how the army dealt with supplying isolated island garrisons in the Pacific once surface vessels had become too vulnerable. The small submarine carried cargo as well as soldiers below the surface.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic and clean up the mold seams of the hull carefully, so that they are smooth. Apply a primer before painting and spray the colors with an airbrush. The model stands out on the supplied base or one of your own; we recommend unifying the finished surface with a protective varnish.
