Turned brass barrel set for the Pola class heavy cruisers (1:350, Aber) for models of Italian warships. A metal detail accessory that replaces the plastic barrels of the gun armament.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Polish manufacturer Aber holds turned brass barrels in 1:350 scale for models of Italian Pola class heavy cruisers, that is, vessels of the Zara type. It is not a ship model but a precise metal accessory that replaces the plastic barrels and gives the guns a crisp, true profile.
Pola was a member of the Zara class, a series of very well armored Italian heavy cruisers. The main armament consisted of eight 203 mm guns in four twin turrets arranged in pairs forward and aft. The ship was lost in the night battle off Cape Matapan in 1941.
Carefully cut off the plastic barrels and replace them with the brass ones. Glue the metal with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and degrease the joint beforehand. We recommend a coat of primer and a light gray shade matching Italian naval camouflage.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
