A set of turned metal barrels for models of the American aircraft carriers USS Lexington and Saratoga as they were up to 1942. It contains barrels of 203 mm (8 inch) caliber of the Mk9 type, 8 pieces, and anti-aircraft barrels of 127 mm (5 inch)/25 caliber, 12 pieces.
The metal barrels are sharp, dimensionally accurate and resistant to distortion. Fitting is simple: you cut off the original plastic barrel, drill a hole in what remains of the part and glue the metal barrel in.
The set is intended for more experienced modelers and raises the realism of the armament of the model considerably.
