A photo-etched add-on set in 1:350 for the TBF carrier torpedo bomber in its torpedo fit. According to the name it is prepared for models of the Dragon brand.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Grumman TBF Avenger was an American carrier torpedo bomber of the Second World War. It flew from the decks of aircraft carriers and from land bases alike, and in the torpedo configuration it carried a torpedo in an internal bomb bay. In 1:350 aircraft like these appear above all on the decks of models of American aircraft carriers, where they measure only a few centimeters and every extra detail shows on them.
These are photo-etched metal parts in 1:350 intended for TBF aircraft in the torpedo fit. Etching allows thicknesses that injection-molded plastic cannot reach in this scale, so thin surfaces look considerably more convincing once glued on than the plastic parts supplied. The application to models of the Dragon brand follows from the name itself.
Cut the parts out of the fret with a sharp blade on a hard surface; never tear them out. Make the folds along a rule or in a bending tool, so that the edge stays straight. Degrease the surfaces before gluing and bond with cyanoacrylate glue or two-part resin; cement for polystyrene does not hold on metal. Apply the primer in a thin coat so that the fine relief is not clogged.
This is an add-on set for Dragon models in 1:350. The exact contents of the package are given in the instructions from the supplier. The kit, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
