Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the small anti-submarine vessel Novorossiysk in 1:400 scale from the Polish maker Mirage Hobby. The real subject is a modern Pauk type corvette (NATO code Pauk II), that is a fast anti-submarine boat of the Soviet Navy of the Cold War period. The box contains plastic parts, decals and instructions; the model captures the compact silhouette with gun and anti-aircraft armament and anti-submarine equipment.
The Pauk type corvettes were small, fast anti-submarine vessels of the Soviet Navy and border guard of the 1980s. They were intended for patrolling coastal waters and for fighting submarines. They carried a rapid-fire gun, an anti-aircraft system and anti-submarine armament with launchers and torpedoes. It was a typical representative of Soviet light coastal surface craft of the late Cold War.
Glue the plastic with liquid cement and clean the small parts up with a file. The hull can be built complete on the stand. Lay down a primer before the color coats and apply the paints with an airbrush; modern Soviet vessels tended to have a uniform gray scheme, which you can bring to life with gentle emphasis on the panels. Add restrained salt-water weathering to the sides of the hull and rust at the outlets.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
