A plastic kit of the ORP Blyskawica in the wz.65 fit in 1:400 scale from the Polish brand Mirage Hobby — a full-hull model of the Polish destroyer.
Responsibility details are not available.
The kit captures the Polish destroyer ORP Blyskawica in the fit after her modernization, designated wz.65, in 1:400 scale. The model from the Polish manufacturer Mirage Hobby comes as a set of injection-molded plastic parts to be glued and painted, together with a decal sheet. The wz.65 form matches the later postwar appearance of the ship.
ORP Blyskawica is a Polish destroyer commissioned in the second half of the 1930s. In the Second World War she operated alongside the Allies and survived the war; afterwards she went on serving and went through modernizations. Today she is preserved as a museum ship. The wz.65 fit captures her appearance after the postwar rebuilding of her armament and outfit.
The hull is built as a whole; remove the flash from the joints and glue with a thin cement for plastic. Apply a base coat (primer) before painting and spray with an airbrush, and fine items such as the railings can be picked out with extra photo-etched parts, which are not included in the package. You can bring the surface to life with a wash into the recesses. The finished model looks good on a stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
