Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector's model of the Skoda from the series that in Czechoslovakia was called nothing but Uzovka, the Czech nickname meaning grass snake, in golden brown paint and with the year 1977 given. The model in 1:43 scale is supplied by the Abrex brand in its birthday range and it comes assembled and painted - it is not a kit; nothing is glued or sprayed. The detailed make-up of the package is given on the packaging.
The nickname Uzovka belongs to the family of Skoda passenger cars of the 105 and 120 series, which went into production at Mlada Boleslav in the mid-1970s as the successor to the 100 series. In design it was a continuation of the Mlada Boleslav conception: a four-cylinder engine at the rear, rear-wheel drive and a four-door sedan body. Compared with its predecessor the car was given more angular styling, more glazing and a differently resolved front end. The year 1977 falls in the early period of production, when the cars still had the first equipment release. The Uzovka became the most widespread Czech car of its day, and that is exactly why people look for it for a collection as a reminder of a family car.
Golden brown is a shade typical of the 1970s and on a model it works best in warmer light, which draws the golden undertone out of the paint; in cold LED lighting it reads more like an ordinary brown. Place the model out of reach of direct sunlight and remove dust from it with a dry soft brush or compressed air. Do not use a damp cloth or cleaning products - the fine printing and the paint could suffer. The model is not a toy and fine parts such as the wipers and mirrors will take only careful handling.
The model is supplied finished and painted. It is not a kit; you need neither glue nor paints.
