Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German twin-engine bomber Junkers Ju 88A-4 in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian maker ICM. This boxing is extended by a set of ground personnel figures and transport trailers for aerial torpedoes, so that besides the aircraft itself you build a small diorama scene of the preparation for a combat flight. The box offers several marking variants.
The Ju 88 was one of the most versatile German aircraft of the Second World War — it served as a bomber, a dive bomber, a reconnaissance machine and a night fighter. The A-4 version received a longer wing, more powerful engines and better defensive equipment. From 1942 the A-4 machines were also converted into a torpedo-carrying variant, which attacked Allied convoys with aerial torpedoes. It was powered by a pair of inverted V12 Junkers Jumo engines.
The extensive glazing of the fully glazed nose and the cockpit is exposed to view — finish and paint the interior before you close the fuselage and mask the glazing carefully. Paint the ground personnel figures separately; pick out the faces and the hands with a light wash and a dry brush. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement and sand the joints. Apply the camouflage with an airbrush, lay the decals on a gloss clear and emphasize the recesses with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
