Abrex 1:43 Skoda 200RS (1974) in the competition form from the Rallye Skoda 1975 with start number 16 and the crew Horsak and Motal. A finished collector's model, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector's model in 1:43 scale in competition form. It is not a kit; the model comes from the factory assembled, painted and carrying the markings of the rally car, so any building and gluing falls away. The form matches the car with start number 16 from the Rallye Skoda 1975, driven by the crew Horsak and Motal.
The Skoda 200 RS was a competition special from the Mlada Boleslav carmaker of the first half of the 1970s. It did not arise in series production but only in a few prototypes built for use in rallies, and it became the direct design predecessor of the considerably better known Skoda 130 RS. The powerplant was a two-liter four-cylinder engine developed directly for racing use, and the body had the shape of a coupe. It is exactly because of the small number built that the 200 RS belongs among the most interesting chapters of Czech competition motoring and is a rewarding subject among collectors.
The model carries the color scheme and the markings of one particular start, that is, the start number and the names of the crew. Other starts of the same car from different events and with different crews are made as well, and they differ exactly in the start number, the year and the event, so go by the full name when choosing. How the model is made in terms of materials, opening parts or interior detail is not stated here.
A collector's model is not a toy. Display it out of reach of small children and out of direct sun, which harms both the paintwork and the printing.
