The real subject

The Skoda Favorit 136L was the first series Skoda with the engine at the front and front-wheel drive. The five-door body with its large tailgate was created in cooperation with the Italian studio Bertone and, compared with the previous rear-engined cars, meant a complete change of shape and layout. In the version from the end of the 1980s the Favorit quickly spread into the fleets of companies and organizations as well, where it replaced older types. Cars in the service of offices and organizations were moreover to be seen in everyday traffic more often than their private counterparts, and today it is they that have survived in the smallest numbers.

The standard

This model carries the colors and the markings of the OUNZ Praha 1 health service. Such cars served for transfers and home visits, and so they differ from civilian standards in their lettering and fittings. The color variant is part of the model, and nothing is glued or sprayed on.

What you get

This is a finished collector's model in 1:43 scale, that is in the size in which collections of passenger cars are most often kept. The model is not built, glued or painted; after unpacking it goes straight into a display case. A collector's standard in this size also suits places where there is no room for a large model, because a car in this scale comes out at just under nine centimeters in length.

Care and placing

Stand the model out of direct sunlight, which over the years takes the richness out of both the colors and the printing. Brush dust away with a soft brush, not with a cloth, so that the paint does not get scratched and the fine lettering is not rubbed off. Solvents and cleaning products do not belong on the model. Paints, glue and other accessories are not supplied with the model, unless stated otherwise.
