The Antonov An-2, NATO reporting name Colt, is a single-engine braced biplane with a radial engine, famous for its exceptionally low stall speed and its ability to operate from short grass strips. It served in the transport, liaison, airborne and agricultural roles with a number of armed forces and is among the longest-produced aircraft in history.
Assembling a biplane calls for careful seating of the interplane struts and the bracing wires; help yourself with a jig and dry-fit before gluing. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and paint the radial engine and the cockpit beforehand. Apply a primer and the paint with an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
