Masking set B-17G Flying Fortress (1:48, HGW)

Masking templates of fine tape for a model of the Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress heavy bomber in 1:48 scale from HGW. The B-17 has exceptionally extensive glazing: the flight deck, the glazed nose, the gun turrets and the side windows. Masking by hand is therefore a lengthy business, and machine die-cut masks speed the work up markedly and make it more accurate.

Use

• Transfer the masks onto the individual glazed parts according to the diagram.
• Spray the shade of the frames, and with multicolor schemes work in layers.
• Masks for the wheel hubs are usually included as well.
• The tape follows the curves of the turrets and the canopies and leaves no adhesive behind when peeled off.

For builders of the B-17G who want to handle the extensive glazing cleanly and in a reasonable time. It will be appreciated above all by modelers who dread masking large areas without templates.
