A photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard aimed at the cargo floor of the Bell-Boeing MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit, but a set of fine metal parts that replace the simplified floor of the base model with a faithful structure with anti-skid relief and tie-down fittings.
The MV-22 Osprey is an American tiltrotor that combines the vertical take-off and landing of a helicopter with the speed and range of a turboprop aircraft. It serves with the US Marine Corps to carry troops and cargo. The cargo compartment with its solid metal floor is one of its characteristic features.
The photo-etched floor parts are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend fitting them before the fuselage is closed up, while the compartment is easy to reach. The metal surface of the floor comes into its own beautifully after a primer and fine weathering that brings out the relief.
An add-on set; it is not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
