A set of seat belts from the Czech maker HGW. It is not a model but a detail accessory for the cockpit of the legendary trainer biplane Boeing Stearman PT-17. It joins cloth belts of a thin printed fabric with photo-etched metal buckles.
The belts replace the simple plastic or painted belts of the basic kit. Because they are of a flexible fabric, they can be shaped naturally and stand out especially well in an open cockpit. Meant for models of the Boeing Stearman PT-17 in 1:48 scale.
Separate the buckles from the fret carefully and glue them to the belts with cyanoacrylate. The fabric can be toned lightly for a worn effect. Work with tweezers and a sharp knife, these are small parts.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The basic model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
