This is a set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the Czech publisher ROP o.s. It is not an aircraft model but an aftermarket set of markings for building a model of the British twin-engine heavy fighter and attack aircraft Bristol Beaufighter in the Mk.X version. The release concentrates on machines in Royal Air Force operational service.
The Beaufighter was a rugged twin-engine aircraft powered by Bristol Hercules radial engines. The TF.X (Mk.X) version served above all with Coastal Command as an anti-shipping and torpedo aircraft with heavy cannon and machine gun armament, often supplemented by rockets. It was valued for its range, its firepower and its toughness.
The decals are intended for the widely available plastic models of the Beaufighter Mk.X in 1:48 scale. Apply them over a smooth gloss coat so that no silvering occurs; softeners help them settle into the detail. Once dry, unify the surface with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
This is a set of decals (aftermarket markings), not a model. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
