The decal sheet HAD models 1:48 Bf 109 E-1, E-3 and E-4, part two completes the set of markings for four camouflage schemes.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models in 1:48 scale for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the E-1, E-3 and E-4 versions. According to the name this is the second part of the set belonging to four camouflage schemes. The sheet is intended for a finished, sprayed model, where it will replace or supplement the decals from a kit.
A two-part release leaves room for a greater number of markings and for the small technical lettering as well. Before you set to work, compare the enclosed drawings of both parts and check which items your scheme calls for. A thin carrier film draws well into the engraving and onto the fabric surfaces of the control surfaces, so the result looks sprayed on.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 of the E family, known as the Emil, was a single-engine fighter with a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine, a narrow fuselage and the squared-off shapes of the wing. The E-1 version had an armament of machine guns, and the E-3 and E-4 carried 20 mm cannons in the wing. There are differences between the versions in the form of the cockpit canopy and in details of the equipment as well.
Varnish the model with gloss clear coat so that no air is left under the film. Cut the decal out, soak it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and slide it into place once it releases. Fine-tune the position with a damp brush and soak the surplus water up. Use a decal softener in the engraving and let the film dry untouched. Finally unify the surface with a matte or satin varnish.
The package holds the decal sheet only. The model, paints and glue are not included.
