A waterslide decal sheet from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in the G-2 version, 1:48 scale. The G family was a more powerfully engined stage in the development of the type, and the G-2 subversion is among its early patterns. The product is an accessory, not a kit, intended to mark a model that is already built and painted.
The sheet offers four camouflage schemes, that is four complete sets of national insignia, individual codes and supplementary lettering. The decals are printed on a thin carrier film in accurate register, so even thin outlines and numbers stay crisp. The placing of the individual designs and the recommended shades are given on the sheet of schemes enclosed in the package.
Varnish the area under the decal with gloss clear coat; on a matte surface air is trapped under the film and a milky edge is left around the design. Cut the design out closely, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until the film releases. Slide it onto the dampened place, adjust the position with a soft brush and soak the water up. Use a softener on the engraved lines, so that the decal pulls onto the surface. Once dry, unify the model with a matte or semi-matte varnish.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The model, paints, glue and varnishes are not included in the package.
