The jig keeps the blade angle and spacing correct and uniform, which is crucial on multi-blade propellers. The set is intended for more advanced modelers with resin experience.
The propellers are a prominent feature of the twin-engine Hawkeye, and their faithful shape and symmetrical blade setting affect the overall impression. The resin blades have a finer profile than the plastic from the box, and thanks to the enclosed jig you can bond them precisely, with no blade set crooked. After painting and a light wash the propellers look entirely realistic.
