A replacement Martin-Baker Mk.7 ejection seat for models of the F-104G and F-104S aircraft in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter is a single-seat supersonic fighter with a very short, thin wing that earned it a reputation as a machine for flying without mistakes. The F-104G version served in European air forces and the F-104S was Italian. Both had the Martin-Baker Mk.7 ejection seat fitted, which replaced an earlier arrangement that fired the pilot downward - and that was precisely what was dangerous at low altitude.
A replacement Martin-Baker Mk.7 ejection seat for models of the F-104G and F-104S in 1:48 scale. The seat is the most visible thing in the cockpit, because it lies under the raised canopy and the viewer looks straight at it. The extent of the set is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
First try the seat dry in the cockpit and if necessary adjust the floor or the side walls, so that it seats without pressure. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder back. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts; for parts that are not polystyrene, cyanoacrylate glue is suitable. Wash and degrease before painting. Paint the seat separately, before you put it into the fuselage, and bring the depths out with a darker glaze; finish the padding and the straps with a fine brush.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
