A set of pre-cut self-adhesive painting masks from the manufacturer Js Work for spraying a camouflage scheme on a model of the Grumman F-14 Tomcat fighter in 1:48 scale. This is neither a kit nor decals — the masks serve to let you spray the individual camouflage fields with paint with sharp, clean transitions and no cutting by hand. The manufacturer designates the set as scheme 1 of its camouflage line for this type.

Use

• spray the model with the lightest color of the scheme and let it dry through thoroughly
• lift the masks off the backing with tweezers, lay them on according to the plan and press the edges down smooth
• apply the further colors in thin coats so that they do not run under the edge of a mask
• remove the masks slowly and at a sharp angle, best of all shortly after the paint has set
