A decal sheet in 1:48 scale from the Polish manufacturer Techmod, aimed at the numbers used on Polish F-16C and F-16D aircraft of the Block 52 plus version. It is not a kit and not a resin accessory: it is a standalone decal sheet with which you mark a model built from a kit by any of the plastic kit manufacturers.
The Polish Air Force operates single-seat F-16Cs and two-seat F-16Ds in the Block 52 plus version, which it began taking over in 2006. The version is based on the late American Block 52 and is adapted to carry conformal tanks on the spine of the fuselage, which markedly changes the silhouette of the aircraft. The camouflage of the machines is a uniform gray, so it is precisely the fuselage numbers and the unit badges that are the main distinguishing feature of a particular aircraft; anyone building more than one machine will hardly manage without them.
Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss surface; matte varnish under a decal creates a silvery veil. Cut out only the motif you need, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest on a paper towel until the backing releases. Apply decal softener to the model, settle the decal with a soft brush and blot the excess water off. Once dry, varnish over it with matte or satin varnish according to the look you want. Older sheets are best given a thin coat of clear varnish before use, which will prevent the printed layer from tearing.
This is a supplementary decal sheet, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
