The General Dynamics, later Lockheed Martin, F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engine multirole fighter, one of the most widely used combat aircraft in the world. The pilot gets into the high-set cockpit by a folding ladder hooked onto the edge of the fuselage, which is an inseparable part of the ground handling of the machine.
The photo-etched parts are cut from the fret, formed and glued with super glue into a three-dimensional shape. The ladder is usually painted a bright color for good visibility on an airfield. It shows best on a model on a stand or in a diorama with a parked aircraft and a pilot figure.
