This product is a standalone decal sheet from Tamiya, not a kit. It makes it possible to replace damaged decals or to extend the marking options when building an F-4 Phantom II model in 1:48 scale. The decals are printed to the usual quality of this brand with good color registration.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat supersonic multirole fighter, one of the most successful and most widely used combat machines of the Cold War. It served with the US Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps and with many other countries.
Coat the area under the decals with gloss varnish, so that the markings settle well and no silvering edges appear. Dip the decals briefly in lukewarm water, slide them into place and settle them with a decal softener. Once dry, overcoat the whole model to the degree of gloss you want.
The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
